The Lake Placid golf team recently won back-to-back matches against the Saranac Central Chiefs and Peruvian Nighthawks. The first match was against Saranac Central on Thursday at Plattsburgh’s Barrack Golf Course, which resulted in a 4-2 win for Lake Placid. Brady Tremblay had an impressive score of 34, including a 2-under albatross on the par-5 eighth hole, making him the medalist. The second match took place on Lake Placid’s home Craigwood golf course on Friday, where they faced the Nighthawks. The match ended in a tiebreak, with Lake Placid winning 3-3 and defeating Peru 155-170 with the lowest combined score of the top four players. Tremblay once again impressed, finishing with an even par 35 and securing the medalist position.
