Saturday Schedule for Cup and Xfinity Races at Darlington Raceway

Two of the national NASCAR series, the Xfinity and Cup Series, will be taking place at Darlington Raceway on Saturday. The Xfinity teams will have the opportunity to practice, qualify, and race at the 1.366-mile track. On the other hand, the Cup Series teams will only have the chance to practice and qualify, getting ready for Sunday’s playoff-opening race.

Several notable drivers, including Kyle Larson, Kyle Busch, Ross Chastain, and Denny Hamlin, will be participating in both series, taking on the challenge of double duty. Larson, who won the spring Xfinity race at Darlington, will be a notable driver to watch out for. Additionally, Carson Hocevar will be making his second career Cup start while driving the No. 42 for Legacy Motor Club.

As for the schedule on Saturday, the weather is expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 81 degrees. There is no chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity Series race. The garage will open at different times for both series, with the Cup Series starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m., and the Xfinity Series starting at 9 a.m.

Various track activities will take place throughout the day. The Xfinity practice will be held from 10:35 to 11:05 a.m., followed by the qualifying session from 11:05 a.m. to 12 p.m. On the other hand, the Cup practice will take place from 12:35 to 1:20 p.m., and the Cup qualifying will be held from 1:20 to 2:30 p.m.

The highlight of the day will be the Xfinity Series race, which will start at 3:30 p.m. The race will consist of 147 laps, covering a distance of 200.8 miles. Fans can catch the race on USA Network, NBC Sports App, Motor Racing Network, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
