Scarlett Johansson has revealed herself as a huge fan of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchises. Despite wanting to be a part of it for over a decade, the opportunity to join the Jurassic World series was enough to overcome starring in another big Hollywood franchise after her time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Johansson expressed her excitement for the role, stating that Jurassic Park was one of the first films she remembers seeing in theaters and it left a lasting impact on her.
Johansson described herself as a massive fan of the franchise and a huge nerd for it. She expressed how excited she was and that she couldn’t believe the opportunity that had come her way. The upcoming film, Jurassic World 4, will feature Johansson alongside other actors like Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend, Mahershala Ali, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, and Audrina Miranda.
The movie will be directed by Gareth Edwards and the script is being written by David Koepp, who also penned the first two Jurassic Park films. Johansson praised Koepp’s passion for the script and described it as incredible. Despite her eagerness to be a part of the franchise for ten years, she humorously mentioned that she was willing to take any role, even if it meant being eaten in the first five minutes or working in the craft service department. She expressed her disbelief and excitement about finally being part of the Jurassic World series after so many years of trying.
