Summer story time is back at the South Beloit Public Library! The program takes place on Friday mornings and Sunday afternoons under the cottonwood tree. Geared towards children ages 3-5, this series aims to introduce young participants to local plant and animal species while building nature, Spanish, and American Sign Language vocabulary.

Each Friday features a new nature theme, which is then repeated on Sundays. Participants only need to register once for the series and can attend as many story times as they are able. Thanks to the support from the Judith H. Adams Fund for nature literacy, attendees can use the coupon code story2024 to receive free admission to the program.

The program is hosted by Nature At The Confluence and the South Beloit Public Library and takes place weekly until August 4, 2024. Sessions are held on Sundays from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. For more information, contact Nature At The Confluence at 815-200-6910 or email info@natureattheconfluence.com.
