Seahawks General Manager John Schneider recently mentioned that the team has an obvious need for interior offensive line help. He indicated that they are exploring both the draft and free agency as possible ways to address this need. With the draft still a few weeks away, the Seahawks are currently focusing on free agency. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC, they are meeting with veteran guard Greg Van Roten on Wednesday.

Van Roten started every game for the Raiders last season, playing on a one-year deal. He has previously been a starter for the Bills, Jets, and Panthers throughout his career, which began as an undrafted free agent with the Packers in 2012. While there have been reports of interest in Laken Tomlinson and Cody Whitehair, neither of those players has visited Seattle at this time. The Seahawks are actively exploring their options to bolster their interior offensive line.
