The Local Lemon in Minot is introducing a new concept to the area by offering freshly squeezed lemonade flavors from a mobile truck. Owner Adriana Bakk originally intended to turn the trailer into an ice cream truck, but decided to focus on offering a variety of lemonade flavors instead.
The Local Lemon primarily operates in Minot but also visits places like Rolette and Plaza occasionally. Bakk ensures that everything about her business is local, fresh, and sweet. She believes that her freshly squeezed lemonade is a great addition to the community, providing flavors similar to what you would find at a fair.
The lemonade is made to order with pressed lemons and comes in multiple flavors like Shark Bite and Peach Ring, which are the most popular choices. Bakk credits her family and friends for supporting her and helping make her business possible. The Local Lemon offers a variety of flavors including Lemonade, Strawberry, Huckleberry, Peach Ring, Prickly Pear, Shark Bite, Mango Tango, and Cherry Limeade.
To find The Local Lemon truck, customers can check the weekly schedule and locations on the business’s Facebook and Instagram pages. On Saturdays from 1-4 p.m., the truck will be parked at the Dakota Square Acro, allowing customers to enjoy fresh and flavorful lemonade on the go.
