The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry inaugurated a new headquarters for the Small and Medium Enterprises Center “Trade 101” in Khor Fakkan. This move is part of the chamber’s efforts to expand its initiative to support and develop entrepreneurs’ projects across all cities and regions of Sharjah. The goal is to motivate entrepreneurs to engage in commercial and economic activities, enhance Emiratisation efforts, and create job opportunities for citizens in the private sector.
The center’s opening was led by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Also in attendance were prominent figures such as Engineer Omar Khalfan bin Huraimel Al Shamsi, Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, and Walid Abdul Rahman Bukhatir. The center aims to provide an incubating environment that supports the ambitions of entrepreneurs, helping them turn their ideas into successful projects.
Abdullah Sultan Al Owais emphasized the importance of empowering young entrepreneurs in Sharjah, aligning with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi. By offering programs like Trade Center 101 for small and medium enterprises, the chamber aims to integrate young citizens into the local trade landscape and boost their contribution to the national economy.
Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al-Awadhi expressed confidence that the new center in Khor Fakkan will support the local business environment. The Sharjah Chamber has launched exceptional programs to enhance entrepreneurs’ skills and support their success. The chamber’s activities are designed to help entrepreneurs achieve their aspirations and contribute positively to the national gross product.
