A small private passenger plane carrying five people crashed on a busy Florida highway Friday and collided with two vehicles on the ground in a crash that killed two people. The Bombardier Challenger 600 business jet, which had taken off from Ohio, was approaching Naples Airport when the pilot radioed that both engines had failed, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said.
Footage from the crash scene shows the plane engulfed in flames and smoke after it crashed on Interstate 75 near Naples, on the Gulf Coast. The plane crashed into a car and a pickup truck on the highway. Three people from the plane survived.
