The Shops at Wiregrass, located in Wesley Chapel, have been a staple in the community for the past 15 years. With over 120 shops and businesses, as well as a variety of restaurants from local owners to major chains, the outdoor mall is a popular destination for residents. Marie Hartman, the general manager, describes it as the downtown area of Wesley Chapel, a place where people can come together to relax, shop, and dine. The mall is constantly improving to enhance the overall experience for visitors.
Throughout the year, the Shops at Wiregrass host weekly and yearly events, particularly during the cooler months. Locally owned businesses such as Rocks, Crystals, and Gems have found success at the mall. Rob Lewis and his wife started their shop three years ago, offering rocks and gems from around the world. By ethically and effectively sourcing materials, they have been able to attract a loyal customer base, thanks to the foot traffic at the mall.
Yomato, a Teppanyaki restaurant at the mall, is run by a father/son duo. Eric Han’s father, a former professional soccer player in Korea, transitioned to becoming a sushi chef in America. Inspired by his father’s passion for cooking and serving customers, Han decided to follow in his footsteps and pursue a career in the restaurant industry. His goal is to one day own his own restaurant or bar.
To explore all the events, stores, and restaurants at the Shops at Wiregrass, visitors can visit the mall’s website for more information. It is a vibrant hub in Wesley Chapel that continues to grow and attract both local residents and visitors alike.
