The UAE financial markets have seen a significant increase in new investors this year, with a total of 64,580 new investors joining since the beginning of the year. Of these, 44,580 new accounts were opened in the Dubai market, while approximately 20,000 new investors joined the Abu Dhabi market.
Abdullah Salem Al Nuaimi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange Group, highlighted the strong confidence in the market, with over 20,000 new investors, 87% of whom were foreign investors, joining the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange since the beginning of the year. This reflects the market’s distinguished position and appeal to investors.
Data from the Dubai Financial Market shows that brokerage companies added 44,580 new accounts for investors in the first five months of the year, with an additional 8,026 accounts added just in the month of May. This growth in new investors demonstrates the attractiveness of the UAE financial markets and the increasing interest in investment opportunities.
