The British Olympic Association has selected six archers to represent Team GB in Paris this summer. Among them are Bryony Pitman, who will be competing in her second Games after participating in Tokyo 2020, as well as teenage Games debutants Penny Healey and Megan Havers. Tom Hall, who also competed in Tokyo 2020, is a part of the men’s squad, which includes Games debutants Conor Hall and Alex Wise.

Team GB chef de mission Mark England expressed excitement over the selection, stating, “We cannot wait to see what these brilliant athletes will achieve in Paris.” Performance director Tom Duggan highlighted the importance of the experience of Pitman and Hall in guiding the Olympic debutants in achieving success.

Pitman, 27, is a European Championships silver medallist who was ranked number one in the world last year. Healey, 19, and Havers, 16, have also achieved top world rankings. Tom Hall, 33, and Conor Hall, 28, both have impressive accolades in European competitions.

The archery events at the Paris Games include men’s singles, men’s team, women’s singles, women’s team, and mixed team events. The events will take place from 25 July to 4 August, providing an opportunity for the selected archers to showcase their talent and compete against the best in the world.
