Last night in Seattle, the Fire Alarm Center received 911 calls reporting smoke coming from a commercial building in the South Park neighborhood. Firefighters arrived on the scene and confirmed the reports, quickly working to extinguish the fire. Despite heavy smoke and poor visibility, they were able to locate and control the fire by 9:24 p.m.
After conducting a thorough search, firefighters confirmed no one was inside the building and no injuries were reported. The fire was completely extinguished by 9:42 p.m.
Following an investigation, the fire was ruled accidental and likely caused by faulty electrical. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
