Split Ferry and Airport Record Weekend: 106,000 Passengers Expected

This weekend, the Split airport and ferry port are expecting a total of approximately 106,000 passengers in both directions, signaling that the tourist pre-season in the Split area is progressing as planned. Mate Melvan, head of the Passenger Reception and Dispatch Service at the airport, shared that 195 planes from 25 countries will be arriving, transporting a record 46,000 passengers in both directions this weekend. The airport has seen a ten percent increase in traffic in the first six months of the year compared to the same period last year, with further growth anticipated in the coming months.

In June, the Split airport saw 500,000 passengers traveling in both directions, and the numbers are expected to rise to around 750,000 in July and over 700,000 in August. Meanwhile, the Split Ferry Port is set to transport about 60,000 passengers and 13,500 vehicles to and from the islands this weekend, similar to the levels seen in the same period last year. Jelena Ivuli, coordinator of Jadrolinija’s Split shipping area, noted that most tourists visiting the area come from Croatia, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

Additionally, discussions around topics like the upcoming football match between England and Slovakia, as well as information on Andis clippers and Mon Platin products are also being shared. The community is also exploring the best IPTV service in Spain, free online Tarot courses, interpretations of dreams, inclusive community events like those held by Capitol City Residential Health Care, as well as topics like basement remodeling and spiritual messages from the Archangels.
