Sports on Bartlesville Radio

Gentry Turner from Bartlesville High and Cooper Fogle from Caney Valley Ramona were awarded the female and male Athlete of the Year at the Patriot Auto Group Night of Scholars and Champions. Both athletes have excelled in multiple sports and have earned top-10 accolades in the state in their respective classifications. Turner has already achieved a top-5 finish in 6A cross country and is set to continue her accomplishments at the upcoming track and field state championships this weekend.

On the other hand, Fogle is known for his achievements in track and field and for leading the state in tackles for Caney Valley. He won the pole vault 2A title last year and finished third this spring. Congratulations to these two outstanding athletes and to all of our athlete of the week honorees throughout the season.

It was an exciting night for sports fans as Bartlesville High runner Gentry Turner and Caney Valley Ramona multi-sport standout Cooper Fogle were recognized with the prestigious Patriot Auto Athletes of The Year award. Both athletes have demonstrated exceptional talent in various sports and have garnered top-10 rankings in their respective classifications in the state.

Turner has already achieved a top-5 finish in 6A cross country and is expected to add to her list of accomplishments at the upcoming track and field state championships. Fogle, on the other hand, is a star track athlete as well as a defensive standout for Caney Valley, leading the state in tackles. He clinched the pole vault 2A title last year and finished third this spring.

Congratulations to Turner and Fogle on their well-deserved recognition, and to all the athletes who have been honored throughout the season.
