Spring sports in Lenawee County are in full swing.

The spring season is in full swing this week for Lenawee County high school sports. On Monday, the girls soccer teams from Clinton and Tecumseh faced off. Clinton came out strong with Aubrey Lauer scoring six goals and Anna Schaffner adding two more, along with two assists. Clinton secured an 8-2 victory, with Kaylee Raiser contributing two assists and Jackie Whiting making six saves in goal. Tecumseh’s Shaylinn Drouillard scored both of her team’s goals.

Blissfield’s girls soccer team also played on Monday, facing Monroe and taking a 7-2 loss. In lacrosse, the Tecumseh girls team opened their season with a game against Sylvania Northview. Despite a 16-4 loss, Sapphira Williams and Emily Burgess each had a goal and an assist, while Jayden Poley and Jazlyn Reau also scored for Tecumseh. Northview traveled from Ohio for the game.
