ABC4 and Utah’s CW30 are collaborating with various medical and non-profit organizations to ensure that the entire family is in good health before the start of the school year. They are hosting the Good4Utah Family Health Fair on Saturday, Aug. 3 at the ABC4 Studios in Salt Lake City from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The free health fair will provide Utah residents of all ages with the opportunity to ensure they are at their healthiest by offering back-to-school vaccinations and specialized health screenings such as mammograms and vision screenings. Attendees can also participate in blood donation.
According to ABC4 News Director Nancy Bauer, early detection is crucial in fighting many illnesses and diseases. The goal of the health fair is to provide free access to this early detection for viewers and readers. This can be particularly challenging for families, so the event is designed to be easily accessible to everyone.
ABC4 has already established partnerships with several vendors and exhibitors for the event, with more being added throughout July. Those interested in participating as a vendor can contact healthfair@abc4.com for more information.
