Suffolk darts sensation Lennon Wharf sets sights on becoming the world’s top player

Lennon Wharf, a 10-year-old darts prodigy, is aiming to become a world champion in the sport after already defeating former professionals. Despite balancing his schoolwork with playing for Suffolk’s under-18 darts team, Lennon has shown exceptional talent on the oche, hitting over 450 top scores and even scoring his first 180 at the young age of three.

With his career gaining momentum, Lennon has been signed by Target Darts, the same brand that represents top players like Luke Littler, Rob Cross, and Raymond van Barneveld. He has also had the opportunity to play against darts professionals like 2008 world champion Mark Webster and received mentoring from Suffolk darts legend Keith Deller.

Lennon’s father, Gary, expressed pride in his son’s accomplishments and described his rapid progress in the sport as “crazy.” Despite feeling nervous while watching Lennon play, Gary admires his son’s calm and focused approach on the stage. Meanwhile, Lennon remains determined and focused on his goal of becoming a world champion multiple times, aiming to surpass his idol Luke Littler’s achievements.
