Keith Louis, the owner of Coastal Provisions based out of Plantation, poured his heart into growing his small business. Recently, surveillance video captured a devastating blow to his family-run business. Louis’ son signed for a delivery on Tuesday morning, only to find that someone had stolen 22 boxes of snacks such as gourmet cookies and candy that were meant for local luxury hotels.

Louis expressed frustration over the $3,000 loss, which has put a strain on his ability to show a profit in his business. The theft had a significant impact on his livelihood and his ability to support his family. The surveillance video showed a heartless woman going through the boxes, checking the invoice, and ultimately loading them into her car.

Coastal Provisions, a business that Louis founded just last year, was on the verge of opening its own warehouse. The timing of the theft couldn’t have been worse for Louis, as he was preparing to take his business to the next level. Detectives are urging anyone with information about this theft or similar cases to contact Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.

The loss of the stolen boxes represents more than just a financial setback for Coastal Provisions. It is a blow to a family business that was built on hard work and dedication. Louis and his family have invested time and effort into growing Coastal Provisions, and this theft has set them back significantly. Despite this setback, Louis remains determined to continue growing his business and serving his community with quality snacks and treats.
