Suspect arrested after fatal shooting inside Michigan business

A suspect was arrested after a man was shot to death inside a business in Howell. The incident occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on Friday in the 100 block of W. Grand River Avenue. Police discovered the man inside with a gunshot wound and assured the public that there is no threat to their safety. The shooting was not related to the nearby Balloonfest event.

The police department in Howell described the incident as isolated, with all individuals involved cooperating with the investigation. They requested that individuals avoid the scene to allow investigators to conduct their work thoroughly.
