Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Dalilah Muhammad Qualify for 400m Hurdles Final at U.S. Olympic Team Trials

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone set a world-leading time in the semi-finals and is determined to give it her all in the final on Sunday. The reigning Olympic champion and world record holder effortlessly cruised to a time of 52.48 at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – track & field in Eugene, Oregon, just edging out her rival Femke Bol’s time of 52.49 from the European Championships.

In her heat, McLaughlin-Levrone had no trouble beating Rio 2016 champion Dalilah Muhammad, with both women securing their spots in the final. Despite her performance, McLaughlin-Levrone remains focused on the task at hand, stating that she is looking forward to giving her best in the final.

Anna Cockrell had the second-fastest time of the day with a 52.95, followed by Shamier Little (53.49), Jasmine Jones (53.66), and Rachel Glenn (53.68) in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th positions respectively. With the final approaching, all eyes are on McLaughlin-Levrone as she prepares to compete against some of the best athletes in the world.

The women’s 400m hurdle final is scheduled for Sunday at 17:29 PDT (local time). As McLaughlin-Levrone gears up for the final, fans eagerly await the exciting showdown between her and her competitors.
