The duo will begin their fifth conference finals appearance in their seven seasons as teammates when they face the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the 2024 Eastern Conference Finals at TD Garden. This will be Brown’s sixth conference finals appearance overall.
Tatum and Brown join a select group of just 11 players over the last four decades to reach the conference finals in at least five of their first seven seasons. While winning the NBA Finals is the ultimate goal, their consistent appearances in the conference finals are still a remarkable achievement.
Despite only making one NBA Finals appearance and losing to the Golden State Warriors in 2022, Tatum and Brown’s success is impressive. They are both still young, with Tatum at 26 years old and Brown at 27. Their success at such a young age bodes well for their future in the league.
