Wirtgen Group recently hosted its Technology Days 2024 event at Kleemann’s headquarters in Göppingen, Germany, bringing together 2,700 people from over 100 countries. The focus of the two-day event was on digitalization and sustainability, with Wirtgen Group showcasing cutting-edge machines and technologies from its companies.
With around 70 exhibits for various applications, Kleemann, John Deere, Hamm, Vögele, Benninghoven, CIBER, and Wirtgen highlighted their latest solutions. According to Volker Knickel, CEO of Wirtgen Group, innovation is a core aspect of their company, driven by the increasing demand for smarter, safer, and more sustainable solutions in global markets.
Kleemann, a part of Wirtgen Group, specifically showcased its new MSS 502i EVO scalping screen with an alternative, fully-electric drive option during the Technology Days event. Attendees were also given guided tours of Kleemann’s production facilities to get a closer look at their manufacturing processes.
Alexander Knam, CEO of Kleemann, emphasized the company’s focus on expanding its product portfolio to offer solutions for every application, whether in recycling or natural stone processing. Investments have been made in production capacities, assembly, and logistics processes to achieve this goal.
