The 2024 Precision Crop Management Workshop will take place on June 12 at the Jackson County Extension Center in Newport, Arkansas. Aurelie Poncet, assistant professor of remote sensing and extension pesticide application specialist, emphasized that the workshop will address producers’ needs in precision agriculture. Attendees will learn how to use inexpensive technologies and free tools to maximize the benefits of their operations, regardless of their current level of technological expertise.

There will be presentations on precision software for businesses, spatial data layers, satellite imagery scouting tools, geospatial irrigation tools, and site-specific decision-making.
