Telemachus’ Bold Strategy: Slashing Optics Prices and Boosting Speeds for All

Telemach’s management president, Adrian Ježina, announced on Thursday their commitment to making new technologies more accessible to everyone and accelerating digitization to ensure equal services for all, similar to those in the most developed countries. Lower prices for fiber optic internet packages were also announced as part of this initiative.

The company has decided to simplify its offerings by lowering the prices of their Giga packages for optical internet users. The smallest package of 300 Mbit/s has been canceled, and all current users now have access to 1 Gig without any additional price increase. New users will now have the option of 1 or 2 Giga packages, which are now priced four or nine euros lower than before.

Ježina emphasized the company’s commitment to incorporating advanced technologies for the benefit of all citizens. The goal is to eliminate the need for users to choose between low prices and high speed, making powerful technologies easily accessible. Telemach’s gigabit service is currently available in 12 cities for nearly 200,000 households, with plans to expand to 500,000 households by 2027 with a 10 Giga network.

The company also aims to support small and medium-sized businesses with their digital transformation efforts. They believe that there is significant potential for improving digital intensity and competitiveness through the adoption of advanced technologies. Telemach is investing over 500 million euros in infrastructure by the end of this year to support these initiatives.

In addition to their focus on business users, Telemach is pleased with the growth in mobile and fixed segments, as well as the positive reception of their EonTV service. Their commitment to advancing technologies and providing better services to all users reflects their dedication to enhancing digital experiences for everyone.
