The Volunteer State has been in the top three rankings for two consecutive years. Texas took the top spot for the second year in a row, while Florida closely followed in second place. The magazine praised Tennessee for its prospects of a new future in business, particularly in sectors such as manufacturing, technology, and electric vehicles.
German automaker Volkswagen recently announced that it is starting production of its all-electric ID.4 SUV at its Chattanooga manufacturing facility this summer. Tennessee is also in the process of building the largest automotive production complex ever.
