Texans’ 2024 Schedule to Undergo Significant Changes

A year ago, the Texans defied expectations by making it to the playoffs when most people believed they had no chance. However, this year is shaping up to be different. The differences in this upcoming season will become apparent when the schedule is released in six days. When looking at the opponents the Texans will face, it is clear that they have a tough road ahead. In addition to their divisional rivals, they will be facing off against seven total playoff teams from the previous year. This means that the Texans will have some high-profile matchups that may come with primetime slots.

Last year, the Texans played most of their games at the same time slot on Sunday afternoons. This routine was favored by the coaches for its consistency and lack of distraction. However, this year, the Texans are likely to have games in different time slots and potentially in primetime. This change in schedule could add more pressure to the team to perform consistently and under the spotlight.

The outcome of the specific schedule will be crucial for the Texans as it could set the tone for the entire season. Starting with tough matchups like the Chiefs and possibly facing a Sunday night game against the Bills right after could pose a challenge for the team. Coach DeMeco Ryans will have to navigate this new dynamic and find ways to motivate his team against top contenders in pressure-filled situations.

Despite these challenges, there is confidence that the Texans can rise to the occasion as they performed well under pressure last year. However, with increased attention and expectations this year, the Texans will need to step up their game and prove that they are a team to be reckoned with in the league.
