Texas A&M Programs Ranked in Top 10 by QS World University Rankings

Texas A&M University has been recognized as having some of the world’s best programs, as indicated by the latest QS World University Rankings. The rankings, conducted by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), a higher education insights provider based in London, evaluated 1,500 institutions worldwide. The rankings are based on the analysis of 17.5 million academic papers and input from over 240,000 academic faculty and employers. Institutions are assessed in nine areas including academic and employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, and citations per faculty.

Some highlights of Texas A&M University’s rankings include Petroleum Engineering at No. 5 and Veterinary Science at No. 7 in the top 10 categories. In the top 20 rankings, Agriculture and Forestry is at No. 17 and Civil and Structural Engineering is at No. 26. Additionally, the university’s programs in Earth and Marine Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Geophysics, Mechanical Engineering, and Sports-related subjects all ranked within the top 30.

When compared to other universities in the United States, Texas A&M University is ranked at No. 32 overall nationally and No. 14 among public institutions. To view the full 2024 World University Rankings, visit the QS website for more information.
