On Saturday, Texas had a strong showing against West Virginia, with Dylan Disu and Max Abmas leading the way. Disu scored 19 of his 27 points in the first half, while Abmas also contributed 19 points, putting him past Oscar Robertson on the all-time scoring list. Abmas showcased his skills with 5 of 12 three-pointers made and nine assists without a turnover, along with six rebounds. After a five-point loss to No. 14 Iowa State earlier in the week, Texas came out strong against West Virginia, shooting 65.7% in the first half and securing a 25-point lead at halftime.

Next, West Virginia will face TCU on Monday, while Texas prepares to take on No. 5 Houston on Saturday after a week off.
