Jesse Gonzales and his wife Angela live in North Richland Hills and have decorated their home in celebration of the Texas Rangers’ 2023 World Series victory. Their house is known locally as the “Rangers House” and features scenes from the World Series in place of traditional Christmas decorations. Gonzales and his wife are huge Texas Rangers fans. They got engaged at a Rangers game and wanted to commemorate the team’s victory by incorporating it into their holiday decorations. The display includes 10,000 lights, a giant LED screen showing iconic moments from the series, and jerseys on skeletons, representing Rangers past, present, and future.
The entire show is choreographed to Post Malone’s song, “Congratulations.” The family wanted to share their joy and hope that others will stop by to enjoy the display before they switch to their traditional Christmas decorations on December 1. Jesse Gonzales wants visitors to experience the joy of the Rangers’ World Series win and “relive that moment again,” inviting everyone to feel welcomed at their home. Nicole Nielsen of CBS News reports that the display has been met with a phenomenal reaction from fans and visitors who come to see the lights.
