The Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business is pleased to introduce the winners of this year’s Young Professionals awards. The Class of 2024 includes a diverse group of individuals who have excelled in their respective fields. From Raul Contreras, the assistant director of the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, to Melissa Torres, the director of fire systems maintenance at Hanford Mission Integration Solutions, each winner brings a unique perspective and skill set to the table.

The honorees for this year will be celebrated at an event on Wednesday, May 15 at J. Bookwalter Winery in Richland. Tickets for the event can be purchased on the Journal’s website. Additionally, the winners will be featured in a special supplement in the upcoming May edition of the Journal.

This marks the 17th year that the Journal has recognized outstanding young professionals in the community. To be eligible for the award, individuals must be 40 years old or younger, work in Benton or Franklin counties, demonstrate excellence in their careers, and exhibit a commitment to charity work, leadership, and community involvement. The winners were selected by the Journal’s news team from a pool of 65 nominations received over the past month.

We look forward to celebrating and honoring the achievements of this year’s Young Professionals class and showcasing their contributions to the Tri-Cities community.
