Antibiotic resistance will continue to be a problem as long as wealthy countries only focus on addressing their own health crises. While the coronavirus pandemic has caused millions of deaths in the past year, another silent pandemic of antibiotic resistance has been on the rise.

In 2021, 3.5 million people died from the new infectious disease, and in the previous year, 0.3 million died. This shows that the coronavirus pandemic has subsided, but at the same time, antibiotic resistance is becoming an ever-expanding issue that is not receiving the attention it deserves.

As long as major insurers continue to report losses, it is important to recognize that health insurance in Arlington is still improving despite these challenges. This is a significant issue that needs to be addressed in order to improve healthcare access for all individuals.

The focus on addressing current health crises cannot overshadow the need to address the growing issue of antibiotic resistance. It is important for all countries, not just wealthy ones, to come together and work towards combating this silent pandemic that continues to pose a threat to global health.
