Nvidia has recently surpassed Apple and Microsoft to become the world’s most valuable company in the global tech market. The chipmaker is leading the AI wave and is the largest supplier of AI GPUs with clients including Microsoft and Amazon Web Services (AWS). However, CEO Jensen Huang has expressed concerns about the growth of the company.

According to reports, Huang is worried about whether Nvidia’s largest buyers have enough space to set up data centers to install its AI chips. He fears that if they do not have enough space, they may not buy more chips from Nvidia. The CEO has been conducting meetings with company executives to address this growing concern.

Nvidia’s CEO has raised concerns about cloud giants like AWS and Microsoft not expanding their data centers and power infrastructure quickly enough to handle orders for Nvidia’s AI chips. Following these meetings, Nvidia managers have begun to inquire about the availability of space and electricity from cloud providers to accommodate their orders.

Since 2023, Nvidia has experienced significant growth in the AI space, due to its advanced GPUs designed for generative AI training. The company holds around 80% market share in AI chip manufacturing, with major tech giants relying on Nvidia’s hardware. Nvidia has recently launched its supercomputing AI GPU, Blackwell, and has plans to expand beyond cloud businesses into consumer internet, automotive, and healthcare sectors for future market growth.
