The car is powerful, with a two-engine four-wheel-drive model boasting 600 horsepower. However, there have been quality issues reported with the initial production batches in the US, including rust appearing on the surface and aesthetic defects.
Driving the Cybertruck in Europe poses challenges due to its design and construction, such as thin stainless steel plates that may not meet EU regulations. The market for pick-up trucks of this size in Europe is small compared to the US, where two million pick-up trucks were sold in 2022. The Cybertruck is a vehicle made for American roads and markets, reflecting the American spirit and may not be easily understood by Europeans. Despite its impressive features, some of its design choices may seem more about uniqueness than practicality.
