Swarovski’s latest release deviates from its usual glittering collections and collaborations. Instead, the brand is launching a new documentary as part of the BBC’s The Climate and Us series. The documentary highlights the work of Joshua Ichor, a hydrologist who, after surviving a severe typhoid infection, developed a hand pump monitoring system and clean water kiosks for communities in Africa. Ichor is a graduate of the Swarovski Foundation’s Creatives for Our Future programme, which is promoted in partnership with the United Nations.
