The Dubai Expo City Authority has launched a non-profit organization called the Dubai Expo City Foundation to support and develop innovative ideas that benefit people and the planet. This new entity builds on the success of Expo Live, a global innovation and partnership program announced within the framework of Expo 2020 Dubai. The Foundation aims to connect individuals, ideas, and resources to find solutions to pressing challenges and enhance opportunities for financing, cooperation, investment, and business.

After hosting the COP28 climate summit and the most comprehensive World Expo, the Foundation is working to strengthen Dubai’s position as a center for purposeful partnerships. The launch event was attended by government officials, institutions, partners, and innovators, including Reem Al Hashemi and Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid, who emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to creating a better future through giving, benevolence, and positive change.

The Foundation’s mission is to support social entrepreneurs across different sectors through partnerships that bring together individuals and institutions. The event included a dialogue session on charitable work and social development, highlighting the potential for the UAE to become a global center for designing and implementing charitable projects and solutions to global challenges. The Foundation aims to continue the legacy of Expo Live by supporting initiatives that have a positive impact on millions of people around the world.
