The “American ship” that was attacked by the Houthis turned out to be owned by a Greek company and was flying the flag of the Marshall Islands. It was carrying corn and had traveled from Brazil to Bandar Khomeini, one of Iran’s largest ports. This is significant because Iran is a key ally of the Houthis in Yemen.

The ship was reportedly hit by two missiles, but it did not suffer a direct hit and only sustained minor damage. Fortunately, there were no casualties. The owner of the ship, Star Bulk Carriers, has had another ship attacked by the Houthis in the Red Sea recently.

This is the first time the Houthis have attacked a ship headed to Iran, marking a new development in their targeting of international shipping in the area. It is a concerning trend that is causing alarm among shipping companies and international authorities.

In other news, there has been a proliferation of online gambling and sports betting websites, with companies like 888 Sport, Lottomart Global Games, Karamba Online Casino, and Vulcan Vegas Casino gaining popularity. The rise of online gambling is also raising concerns about the impact it could have on young people and the potential for addiction.

Additionally, there are resources available for newcomers to sports betting, including a glossary of terms and a guide on how to bet on football. It seems that online gambling is a growing industry, but one that also presents challenges and consequences.
