The inaugural AI laptop of the future

Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Galaxy Book4 Edge, a cutting-edge laptop that features artificial intelligence capabilities. With a powerful AI computing capacity of 45 TOPS and innovative hybrid AI functions, the Galaxy Book4 Edge offers users an enhanced mobile AI ecosystem. TM Roh, president and head of the Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, highlighted the device’s ability to bridge the gap between mobile and laptop experiences, democratizing the use of AI in everyday tasks.

The Galaxy AI on Galaxy Book4 Edge provides a fast and seamless connected experience across Galaxy devices, combining on-device and cloud-based computing for optimal performance. Users can enjoy AI functions both online and offline, ensuring data security and productivity enhancement. The Snapdragon platform adapts to users over time, increasing efficiency and optimizing the overall AI experience.

As a Copilot+ laptop, the Galaxy Book4 Edge transforms the user experience by integrating features like Link to Windows, Circle, Google Search, Chat Assistant, and Live Translation. Collaborating with Microsoft for Windows Copilot integration, the device offers a blend of on-device and cloud-based AI solutions. The laptop empowers users to interact with their devices in new ways, boosting productivity and creativity.

The Galaxy Book4 Edge is designed for efficiency, featuring a long-lasting battery, up to 22 hours of video playback, and Super Fast charging capabilities. The dedicated AI button allows users to access AI features with ease, improving overall productivity. The device supports advanced creative tools such as Microsoft’s Paint Cocreator and Windows Studio Effects, enhancing video conferencing experiences with camera filters and background effects.

Scheduled for release in select markets, including France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States starting June 18, 2024, the Galaxy Book4 Edge promises a premium AI experience. While pricing details for Europe are yet to be revealed, the starting cost in the US for the 14-inch version with a Snapdragon X Elite processor is $1,349.99, with the 16-inch model priced higher. Samsung aims to revolutionize the use of AI and productivity with the Galaxy Book4 Edge, offering users a powerful, connected, and innovative laptop experience.
