The latest Motorola razr 50 family debuts with enhanced external screen and the Gemini app

Motorola has introduced the new razr 50 family, which features an iconic design renewal with a larger external screen and various functions powered by artificial intelligence and the Gemini app. The razr 50 ultra and razr 50 models come with a larger and smarter exterior screen that provides access to clock faces, customizable screensaver, Spotify panel, Bose panel, Google Photos, and Gemini applications.

For the first time in the razr family, Google’s chatbot is available with its application directly on the external screen, which is 4 inches in the razr 50 Ultra and 3.6 inches in the razr 50. Users can create road trip itineraries, personalized exercise routines, and get recipes based on fridge contents using this tool.

The razr 50 ultra boasts a 50MP main camera system with moto AI camera features and AI-powered editing capabilities from Google Photos. It includes a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom without quality loss. The razr 50 model features a 50MP main camera with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle/macro lens for professional-looking photos at an affordable price.

The new Razr models have protected the external screen with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and reinforced the devices for underwater protection against falls and scratches. The hinge has been redesigned to offer better protection against dust and supports various degrees of opening to reveal a 6.9-inch pOLED internal screen.

The razr 50 ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and a 4,000mAh battery with reverse charging and wireless charging capabilities. The razr 50 model features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chip and a 4,200mAh battery with fast charging functions. Both devices run on Hello UX software and moto AI features that range from camera enhancements to interface navigation and search options.

The devices are now available for purchase in Spain, with the razr 50 ultra priced at 1,199 euros and the razr 50 priced at 899 euros. The razr 50 ultra comes in Navy Blazer, Dill Green, Peach Fuzz, and soon Pink Peacock colors, while the razr 50 is available in Beach Sand, Koala Gray, and Spritz Orange.
