The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago will be closed on Wednesday for unplanned maintenance. The details of the maintenance were not specified in the announcement on the museum’s website. Anyone who has already purchased tickets for Wednesday will be refunded or can call to reschedule for another time. The museum plans to resume normal hours and operations on Thursday.

Currently, the Museum of Science and Industry is hosting several exhibitions, including “007 Science: Inventing the World of James Bond” which focuses on the science and technology behind the iconic movie franchise. Another exhibit, “The Blue Paradox,” takes visitors beneath the ocean’s surface to explore the impact of plastic pollution. The museum is also showcasing the Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition, an annual event since 1970, until April 21. In the Giant Dome Theater, visitors can watch films like “Dark Universe,” “Michael Jordan to the Max,” and “Tornado Alley” until May 17.
