ZTE has introduced its first folding smartphone, the Nubia Flip 5G, to the Spanish market. Priced at 599 euros, this clamshell format phone is targeted at a younger demographic and offers entertainment and content creation features without a high price tag. The phone features a foldable design with a 1.43-inch circular screen on the outside and a 6.9-inch AMOLED main screen on the inside with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also includes double speakers, a DTS:X Ultra sound system, and a 4,310mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, the Nubia Flip 5G comes with 8GB of RAM (expandable up to 20GB virtual RAM) and 256GB of internal storage. The main camera system includes a 50-megapixel main lens with autofocus and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the outside, as well as a 16-megapixel camera on the inside. The phone runs on Android 13 (Android T), supports 5G connectivity, NFC for contactless payments, and features a USB port for charging.
The Nubia Flip 5G will be available for purchase this summer for 599 euros through Vodafone and Yoigo operators, as well as on the free market via Amazon and other channels.
