The remakes of the first episodes of Assassin’s Creed are on the way

Ubisoft recently announced that they have plans for multiple Assassin’s Creed remakes. Yves Guillemot, the CEO of the company, revealed this news in an interview on the official Ubisoft blog. Guillemot expressed his excitement for the remakes, stating that they will allow players to revisit older games and update them to modern standards. He believes that there is still a lot of potential in the worlds of some of their previous Assassin’s Creed games.

In addition to the remakes, Guillemot also mentioned that players can look forward to a variety of new Assassin’s Creed games in the future. These will range from smaller, more focused experiences like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, to larger, more ambitious titles like the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The goal is to release Assassin’s Creed games more frequently, while still ensuring that each game offers a unique and innovative experience.

Guillemot teased that there are also new projects in the works, including Assassin’s Creed Hexe, which will be a departure from the traditional Assassin’s Creed formula. He believes that these upcoming releases will surprise players with their fresh take on the franchise. Assassin’s Creed Shadows, one of the upcoming titles, is set to launch on multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, Mac, and Luna on November 15.
