Samantha Power, head of the US Agency for International Development, assured that Washington continues to stand by the ethnic Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh. She stated that Azerbaijan’s military operation in Nagorno-Karabakh forced more than 100,000 people to leave their homes and move to neighboring Armenia. A high-ranking American official also thanked the Armenian government for the generous reception of the displaced.
