Three juveniles have been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries at businesses in Stafford that occurred last year. According to Sheriff’s spokesman Ryan Wilbur, the third suspect, a 17-year-old boy, was apprehended earlier this month. The other two boys, ages 16 and 17, were arrested previously and placed in the Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Center.
The burglary spree began on Nov. 9 at Nara Thai Cuisine and Stafford Tobacco and Vape Shop, both located on Garrisonville Road in North Stafford. Cash, wine, and vapes were taken during these thefts. On Dec. 8, the vape shop was targeted again, along with Shaz Unique Studio Salon on the same road. Vapes, cash, and a laptop were stolen during these heists. Two days later, Discount Tobacco and Vape, located on Deacon Road in the southern part of the county, was broken into. Deputies who were in the area at the time arrested the 16-year-old suspect and connected him to other break-ins. Surveillance camera footage helped police identify the suspects.
All three teenagers are facing multiple charges, including breaking and entering, grand larceny, destruction of property, and conspiracy.
