Fifteen years ago today, the NFL community mourned the loss of former quarterback Steve McNair, who tragically passed away at the young age of 36. The official report stated that McNair had been killed by his 20-year-old girlfriend, Jenny Kazemi, who then took her own life. However, many believed there was more to the story, suspecting a double murder disguised as a murder-suicide.

McNair, who was selected third overall in the 1995 draft from Alcorn State, had a successful 13-year career in the NFL. He played the majority of his career with the Oilers and Titans before finishing up with the Ravens in 2006 and 2007. Notable achievements include leading the Titans to a Super Bowl appearance in XXXIV and sharing the MVP award with Peyton Manning in 2003.

With over 31,000 career passing yards and 161 regular-season games, McNair left a lasting legacy in the NFL. He is remembered as a talented and respected player, earning a spot in the Titans Ring of Honor and having his jersey number, 9, retired by the team.
