Topcon Positioning Systems has formed a strategic partnership with Bentley Systems and Worldsensing to enhance geospatial data accuracy and operational efficiency through the integration of Topcon’s GNSS technology into their software and connectivity solutions. This collaboration aims to provide users with real-time geospatial intelligence for improved decision-making and operational effectiveness.
As part of the agreement, Topcon’s web-based GNSS processing engine will be integrated into Bentley’s iTwin IoT monitoring solutions. This partnership is designed to advance the capabilities of infrastructure digital twins, offering a connect-and-collect solution for real-time detection and analysis of potential risks. The use of GNSS technology will make ground-movement monitoring applications more cost-effective and efficient, reducing the initial investment needed for GNSS monitoring.
The integrated solution is currently available for commercial use in the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Bentley Systems plans to expand the reach of this technology to South and Latin America in the future. With this partnership, the companies aim to provide enhanced geospatial solutions to a wider global audience, improving operational efficiency and decision-making processes in various industries.
