Korey Cunningham, a former NFL offensive lineman who played for three different teams over five years, has passed away at the age of 28. Police discovered Cunningham’s body in his Clifton, New Jersey, home on Thursday after a family member reported being unable to reach him. The cause of his death is currently being investigated, but authorities have stated there is no evidence of foul play.
Cunningham, who played college football at the University of Cincinnati, was drafted in the seventh round by the Arizona Cardinals in 2018. After a season with the Cardinals, he went on to play for the New England Patriots for parts of two seasons. In 2021, he joined the New York Giants and was a part of the team for two years before not playing in the NFL in 2023.
