Ripple, an American fintech company, has expanded its reach in the Middle East through a new partnership between Tranglo and LuLu Money. Tranglo, a payment solutions provider, aims to improve cross-border transactions by leveraging LuLu Money’s unique strengths. The partnership is a significant milestone for Tranglo, as it builds on the payment corridor it announced in the UAE in August 2020.
Tranglo offers the Tranglo Connect platform, which streamlines the payment process through direct API access. With real-time processing for 80% of payments, Tranglo exceeds the global industry average. Additionally, Tranglo provides cross-border payment services powered by RippleNet, in which Ripple owns a 40% stake.
LuLu Money operates Digit9, an API-first platform that enables financial institutions to extend their services to other fintech companies. The premier platform simplifies money transfers, expanding customer reach worldwide through LuLu Financial Holdings’ extensive network.
Together, Tranglo and LuLu Money are at the forefront of seamless cross-border payment solutions. Their partnership is set to simplify and expedite transactions in the Middle East, further expanding Ripple’s regional presence.
