The vCommute features a hardened two-layer polycarbonate and TPU structure with CornerGuard technology that meets 810G-516.6 military drop test standards. It also includes protection for the corners of the smartphone and is designed to withstand 26 drops from a height of 1.22 meters. It is comfortable to hold and does not block the physical buttons on the side of the smartphone.
The back of the vCommute cover includes a hidden location for three physical cards. It does not block the ability to pay by touch, and it offers a stand for watching movies on the smartphone. It is priced at NIS 110 to 185 and provides a way to go wallet-free and use the cover as a smartphone stand. While rugged in protection, it does add weight and thickness to the phone.
For users who want a lighter and thinner cover, vena also offers the OutCross, which provides drop and shock protection similar to the vCommute model. It does not include the wallet and stand solution but also offers an elevation in the lens and screen area for better protection. The cover, however, may lose color over time. It is priced at 55 to 110 shekels.
