Malott revealed in a social media video that Urbina withdrew from their fight, and due to a previous injury, Malott decided to pass on a replacement opponent. The reason for Mederos’ withdrawal from his fight against Nazim Sadykhov is still unclear.
Despite these changes, the UFC on ESPN 59 card in Denver features several exciting matchups, including Rose Namajunas vs. Tracy Cortez, Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Muslim Salikhov, and Mariya Agapova vs. Luana Santos. The card also includes fighters like Viviane Araujo, Julian Erosa, and Josh Fremd in action.
