Illinois recently added two three-star recruits to their Class of 2025. Robert Jones III, a three-star defensive back from Vero Beach, announced that he is “1000% committed” to Illinois after previously decommitting from NC State. Jones took an official visit to Illinois and decided it was the right fit for him.
In addition to Jones, Cedric Wyche, the No. 81 running back in the Class of 2025, also committed to Illinois. Wyche, a three-star recruit from Ft. Lauderdale, had received offers from several Power 4 programs but ultimately chose Illinois for his collegiate career.
These two commitments are an exciting addition to Illinois’ recruiting class, showing that the program is attracting talented players from across the country. With these additions, Illinois is looking to strengthen their roster for future seasons and compete at a high level in college football.
